Wasim Akram commented that the Pakistan cricket team doesn’t need an enemy following their worst defeat against India

“In the aftermath of consecutive defeats in the T20 World Cup, the national cricket team remains under intense scrutiny. Former captain Wasim Akram asserts that the Pakistan cricket team doesn’t need enemies; they are enough for themselves.”
During commentary on an Indian sports channel, the Sultan of Swing remarked critically on the Pakistan cricket team’s performance, stating, “What can we say to them now? Shall we explain what situation awareness is? They have been playing for the past 8, 10 years. Will Babar and the coach tell them how to play?” He specifically criticized Mohammad Rizwan, saying, “I will tell Rizwan that if the most important bowler has come for an over, then he has come to take the wicket, you take a single in his over, our team has no fours after 10 overs. Put it and didn’t even try, if I bowl to Iftikhar Ahmed, he will take a single shot, learn to play offside too, can’t even chase the target of 120 runs, as a Pakistani is starting to feel ashamed.”
The former captain of the national team demanded that it’s time to build a new team for Pakistan. After consecutive defeats against India and the United States in the T20 World Cup, cricket fans expressed extreme dissatisfaction, calling for an overhaul in the Pakistan team and demanding an “operation clean-up.” PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, expressing disappointment over the loss against India, suggested major surgery in the national team.
Following the defeat against India in the ICC T20 World Cup, Pakistan played its third match against Canada in New York. The outcome of this match is crucial; if Pakistan wins with a good margin, hopes will remain alive for the national team to advance to the next stage. However, if they fail to do so, the national team will be eliminated from the tournament.
