Tragic Death of 3-Year-Old Girl in Karachi’s FB Area
In a tragic incident, a three-year-old girl named Amna was found dead in the Federal B Area (FB Area) of Karachi, authorities reported on Wednesday. According to rescue and police officials, the young girl was discovered at 7:30 AM with a dupatta wrapped around her neck, leading investigators to believe she was strangled.
Amna, the youngest of six siblings, had followed her brother and sister as they were leaving for school earlier that morning. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central Zeeshan Siddiqui confirmed that the child’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination. The investigation is ongoing, and while the alley where she was found has no CCTV cameras, police are working diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding her death.
The girl’s father is currently in Saudi Arabia performing Umrah, adding to the family’s heartbreak.
Separate Incident: Five Dacoits Killed in Police Operation in Manghopir
In a separate development, Karachi police successfully neutralized a gang of five dacoits during a search operation in the Manghopir area. According to SSP West Tariq Mastoi, the operation was launched in response to complaints from locals, who had long been terrorized by the gang.
Police recovered weapons, motorcycles, and other equipment during the raid. The operation involved an intense exchange of gunfire between the police and the dacoits, and the success was achieved with the cooperation of area residents.
These events underline the ongoing struggle with law and order in Karachi, where both crime and tragic incidents continue to impact the lives of its residents.
