The dollar is further cheaper, with a downward trend in the stock market

The appreciation of the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market has resulted in further depreciation of the American dollar. However, despite this positive development in the currency market, the stock exchange has continued to experience a downward trend for the second consecutive day.
During the third day of the business week, the value of the American currency in the interbank market witnessed a slight decrease of 5 paisas. Consequently, the dollar fell from Rs. 278.30 to Rs. 278.25.
Conversely, the Pakistan Stock Exchange experienced volatility in business activities, with the 100-index declining by 126 points. This downturn led to the index settling at 74,539 levels after the decrease.
