CM Murad Ali Shah personally contacted the Deputy Commissioners of Hyderabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Mirpurkhas to ensure swift action is taken to prevent flooding and waterlogging in these regions.

The Deputy Commissioners submitted detailed reports to the Chief Minister on the rainfall received across various districts. Key figures include:
- Mirpurkhas: 48 mm
- Hasan Bakhsh Murri: 48 mm
- Shujaabad: 26 mm
- Shahdadpur: 43 mm
- Badin: 53 mm
- Tando Bagu: 21 mm
- Jati: 52 mm
- Sanghar, Matli, and Jam Nawaz Ali: 20 mm each
These areas experienced significant rainfall, leading to concerns about potential flooding, especially in low-lying regions.
