Sarim Burney’s bail request in the human smuggling case has been denied.

Judicial Magistrate Sharqi has rejected the bail request of renowned social worker Sarim Burney in the ongoing case involving human smuggling and fraud.
During the hearing of the human smuggling and fraud case involving Sarim Burney, the court dismissed his bail plea following the completion of arguments by the defense lawyers and the presentation of evidence by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The FIA prosecutor emphasized the need for additional evidence against the accused, expressing concerns that granting bail could potentially interfere with the ongoing investigation. Allegations of dishonesty against the accused were also raised during the proceedings.
Furthermore, the FIA prosecutor cited the statement of the girl’s mother, indicating that she had approached Sarim Burney regarding her daughter but was denied assistance.
Subsequently, the court denied Sarim Burney’s bail request.
