Salman Ali Agha: Aiming to Dismiss England Early as Wicket Deteriorates

Pakistan all-rounder Salman Ali Agha has expressed confidence in his team’s strategy to dismiss the English side early as cracks begin to open on the pitch, increasing the chances of a result in the ongoing match. Salman noted that the team will push England to play aggressively, which could lead to mistakes in their batting.
When asked about his personal performance, Salman reflected on his century in the first innings, emphasizing that there was no specific plan to play attacking cricket. However, he mentioned that playing aggressively against spinners is part of his natural game and that surpassing the 500-run mark has boosted the team’s confidence.
On the other hand, England’s fast bowler Brayden Kars, while addressing the media, acknowledged the tough conditions for the bowlers, particularly due to the hot weather. Despite the challenges, he praised his team’s efforts in all sessions but lamented the early dismissal of captain Ollie Pope. Kars acknowledged the strength of the Pakistani team and shared his confidence in England’s ability to compete in the remainder of the match.
