Hezbollah Leader Declares War Following Israel’s Actions

Beirut: Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah accused Israel of declaring war by detonating electric devices along the borders.

Speaking via video link for security reasons, Nasrallah emphasized that recent events compelled him to address the situation. He stated, “Israel detonated an electric device and blocked all the boundaries,” indicating escalating tensions between the two entities.
Call for Unity
Nasrallah praised the national unity displayed during the Israeli attacks, describing it as a “happy future” for Lebanon. He expressed gratitude to medical personnel and blood donors for their efforts in the wake of the violence, while condemning Israel for endangering the lives of Lebanese citizens.
Casualties and Ongoing Investigations
Highlighting the gravity of the situation, Nasrallah declared the recent actions as a “war and a declaration of war by Israel.” He noted that investigations into the device explosions are ongoing in Lebanon. Reports indicate that the number of injuries from these explosions is significantly higher than previously understood, with Nasrallah alleging that Israel planned to inflict mass casualties.
Humanitarian Impact
As a result of the explosions, 37 people have died in Lebanon, and the Lebanese Minister of Health reported that 3,539 individuals were injured due to the blasts from the communication devices.
