Government School Clerk Arrested for Losing Rs 2.3 Million of Student Exam Fees in Gambling

In a shocking incident in Zhob, Balochistan, a clerk at a government school reportedly lost Rs 2.3 million of student exam fees in gambling. According to reports, Shehzad Jamal, a clerk at Government Model Higher Secondary School, had collected fees from 878 students in grades 9 and 10 to deposit them into the school account. Instead, he allegedly used the funds for gambling, losing the entire amount.
Consequences for Students’ Examinations
The deadline for fee submission to the Balochistan Board is October 30. With the funds missing, students’ participation in exams could be jeopardized if the fees are not paid on time. The school principal reported the incident, leading to Jamal’s immediate arrest by local authorities.
