Federal Information Minister Accuses PTI of Anti-National Agenda Due to Indian Connections

Federal Information Minister Ataullah Tarar has leveled serious allegations against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), claiming that the party’s anti-national agenda has been exposed due to its connections with Indian entities. He specifically pointed to PTI leader Rauf Hasan’s alleged ties with an Indian journalist and accused the party of attempting to create division within Pakistan through foreign influence.
Allegations of Indian Connections and Anti-Pakistan Activities
In a strong response to the PTI’s alleged links with foreign adversaries, Tarar accused PTI founder Chairman Faiz Hameed of fostering a nexus with anti-Pakistan elements. He claimed that this connection, along with decisions to reintroduce destabilizing forces through Pakistan’s western border, represents the worst form of anti-nationalism. The minister emphasized that PTI’s actions have damaged the country’s foreign policy and threatened its integrity.
PTI’s Social Media Cell and Alleged Anti-Army Campaign
Tarar further accused PTI’s social media cell in Islamabad of being the main conduit for communication with foreign enemies. He asserted that this cell was instrumental in orchestrating a campaign against the Pakistan Army, aligning with a broader agenda purportedly supported by Indian interests.
Claims of a “Faiz Niazi Nexus”
The minister also spoke of a “Faiz Niazi nexus,” implicating Faiz Hameed, PTI Chairman Imran Khan (Niazi), and Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi in a conspiracy to harm Pakistan. Tarar alleged that this nexus was central to creating instability in the country and attempted to suggest division within the Pakistan Army.
Ataullah Tarar’s statements underscore the government’s accusations against PTI of engaging in activities that threaten national security. The minister called for accountability, accusing the party of following an agenda that aligns with India’s interests and harms Pakistan’s integrity and stability.
