Fawad Chaudhry Claims Imran Khan and PML-N Ready for Talks

Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has made a significant statement, revealing that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are prepared to engage in negotiations. However, he stressed that the establishment must create a conducive environment for these talks to proceed.
Criticism of Government’s Tactics
Chaudhry expressed strong criticism of the current government, accusing it of attempting to eliminate Imran Khan from the political scene. He argued that this approach has led to widespread instability and destruction, stating, “The only experiment going on in Pakistan is to run the country minus Imran Khan.”
Return of Terrorism and the Need for Dialogue
Fawad Chaudhry also pointed out that there had been no significant terrorism in Pakistan for three and a half years, but the situation has deteriorated recently. He emphasized the need for a “grand political dialogue” as the solution to the country’s problems, rather than resorting to force or suppressing opposition figures.
Allegations Against the Election Commission
Chaudhry further accused the Election Commission of taking defamatory actions against both himself and Imran Khan, describing the situation as unfair.
Commentary on Pakistan-Bangladesh Cricket Match
On a lighter note, Chaudhry commented on the ongoing cricket match between Pakistan and Bangladesh. He humorously compared the poor performance of the Pakistani cricket team to the current state of governance in the country, saying, “Now it is a prayer that the people of Bangladesh will stop seeing hair, which is the performance of our cricket team is the same as that of the government.”
