Accountability Court Rejects Imran Khan’s Acquittal Plea in £190 Million Case

An accountability court in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail on Thursday rejected the acquittal plea filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in the £190 million case.
The court, after hearing arguments from all sides, announced the decision. The court also scheduled September 13 as the date for cross-examining the investigating officer, who is the final witness in the reference.
This case is part of ongoing legal proceedings against Imran Khan, who faces multiple charges since his ousting as prime minister.
