Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi hailed the efforts of law enforcement agencies in successfully thwarting unrest in Islamabad, declaring it a victory for peaceful Pakistan and its citizens.

Visit to D-Chowk and Khyber Plaza

The Interior Minister visited key areas impacted by the unrest, including D-Chowk and Khyber Plaza, where he personally met with on-duty law enforcement personnel.

    • Extended gratitude for their efforts in clearing the capital’s streets and restoring order.

Post-Operation Directives

During his visit, Mohsin Naqvi issued several immediate instructions:

  • Cleanup Operations: Directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to swiftly clean the streets of debris and other remnants from the unrest.
  • Damage Assessment: Reviewed damage to buildings and infrastructure caused by the miscreants’ attacks.
  • Removal of Obstacles: Ordered the clearing of all blockades and obstacles from streets to restore normalcy.

Praise for Law Enforcement

The Interior Minister commended the bravery of officers and personnel who played a critical role in pushing back demonstrators and ensuring peace in the capital.

  • Statement: “This is a victory for peaceful Pakistan and Pakistanis,” Naqvi remarked.
  • Role of Rangers and Police: Special acknowledgment was given to their tireless and courageous efforts during the operation.

Restoration of Order in Islamabad
