Karachi Traffic Restrictions in Civic Centre and National Stadium Vicinity Today from 1 PM to 4 PM

The Karachi Traffic Police have issued a traffic diversion plan in light of restricted movement around the Civic Centre and National Stadium today, between 1 PM and 4 PM. The restrictions are due to a scheduled drill and goods movement exercise, intended to streamline activities in the area.
Diversion Routes and Alternate Paths
1. Traffic from Airport to City
Heavy, commercial, and general traffic traveling from the Airport toward the city center will not have access to Karsaz Road or National Stadium. Instead, they will be redirected through Drigh Road, Rashid Minhas Road, and Nipa.
2. Traffic from FTC on Sharea Faisal
Traffic coming from the FTC Building on Sharea Faisal will be restricted from heading toward Karsaz and the Airport. These vehicles will be diverted to Shaheed Millat Road from Baloch Colony Bridge. From there, commuters can use Jail Chowrangi, University Road, and Rashid Minhas Road to reach the airport.
University Road Restrictions
- No Access to Sir Shah Sulaiman Road: Vehicles on University Road will not be permitted to proceed toward Sir Shah Sulaiman Road.
- Restrictions Beyond Aga Khan Hospital: Traffic from Aga Khan Hospital on University Road cannot continue to Stadium Road or Karsaz. Commuters will need to use alternative routes via Peoples Chowrangi or Shaheed-e-Millat Road.
Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hasan Square Bridge
The Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hasan Square Bridge route will not allow traffic to access Stadium Road. All vehicles will be rerouted to Nipa and Rashid Minhas Road during restricted hours.
Public Cooperation Requested
