Deployment of Rangers for Security
On the recommendation of the district administration, the government has also decided to deploy Rangers in Mianwali. To ensure maximum security, two companies of Rangers will be stationed in the district from October 1 to October 3.
Rationale Behind the Decision
The notification highlights that the imposition of Section 144 is a preventive measure to maintain law and order. Due to the current security threats, public gatherings pose a significant risk and may become soft targets for terrorist activities.
