Sindh Minister Sharjeel Memon Acknowledges Karachi’s Road Issues, Vows Repairs

Sindh Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has acknowledged the deteriorating condition of certain roads in Karachi, stating that the provincial government is working to repair them. Speaking in a news program, Memon admitted that there are road issues causing difficulties for residents, adding that the government recognizes the problem and is actively addressing it.

Memon emphasized that while some roads in Karachi are in poor condition, the provincial government is committed to fixing the infrastructure. He also mentioned that they are open to criticism, acknowledging the suffering of the public due to these road problems.
Lack of Support from the Federal Government
Sharjeel Memon pointed out that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is not part of the federal government and that Karachi has not received its fair share of resources from the federal level. He hinted at the need for greater financial support to address the city’s infrastructure challenges more effectively.
The minister’s comments come amid growing public frustration over Karachi’s infrastructure, highlighting the provincial government’s efforts to tackle the issues despite limited federal backing.
