Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah Commemorate Quaid-e-Azam’s 76th Death Anniversary

On the 76th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Sindh Governor Kamran Tesuri, alongside Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, visited Jinnah’s shrine to pay their respects and recite Fatiha.
During his address, Governor Tesuri highlighted the contrast between those advancing Pakistan’s economy and those promoting hatred from behind bars. He condemned the incidents of May 9, expressing shame and disappointment at such events. Tesuri emphasized the need for unity in countering narratives of hatred and external influences, stressing that Pakistanis must focus on economic advancement and national unity.
He urged following the principles set by Quaid-e-Azam and pointed out that the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia next month would be significant for the country.
Chief Minister Sindh’s Address
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also spoke during the event, asserting that the nation is united in addressing the country’s internal challenges. He noted the Sindh Assembly’s previous resolutions on water issues and mentioned that this year’s rains have been above average. An assessment regarding the impact of the rains has been completed.
Chief Minister Shah assured that the funding requested by the Mayor of Karachi for municipal improvements would be provided. He also stressed that mere condemnation of speeches from elected officials is insufficient, underscoring the need for practical action and unity.
