Weather Forecast: Thunderstorms and Rain Expected in Various Parts of Pakistan

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain accompanied by thunderstorms in different regions of the country, with hot and humid conditions prevailing in most areas.
Hot and Humid Weather Across the Country
In most parts of the country, the weather is expected to be hot and humid with partly cloudy skies. However, several regions, including Kashmir, Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Southeast Sindh, and Northeast Balochistan, are likely to experience rain with strong winds and thunderstorms at a few places.
Islamabad and Punjab
Islamabad is forecasted to have hot and humid weather during the day, with strong winds and thundershowers expected in the evening or night. In Punjab, districts such as Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Multan, among others, may experience rain with strong winds and thunderstorms at scattered locations.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the weather will be partly cloudy in most districts. However, districts like Chitral, Swat, Abbottabad, Peshawar, and Dera Ismail Khan are expected to see gusty winds and thunderstorms at various spots.
Balochistan
In Balochistan, the weather will remain hot and humid in most districts. Evening thunderstorms and strong winds are predicted in Zhob, Barkhan, Loralai, and several other districts.
Sindh
Sindh will also experience hot and humid conditions, with the possibility of gusty winds and thunderstorms in districts such as Mithi, Tharparkar, and Mirpurkhas. Coastal areas may witness light rain or drizzle in a few locations.
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan
Both Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to experience gusty winds and thunderstorms in a few areas, adding to the overall weather activity across the country.
