Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa Donates Land to Balochistan Government for Independence Day

On the occasion of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day, Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and his family have made a significant gesture by donating tens of thousands of square feet of land to the Balochistan government. The land, intended for public use, is a symbol of generosity and commitment to the nation’s development.
In a joint letter signed by Chief Justice Isa and his family member Qazi Azmat Isa, the donation was officially communicated to the Balochistan government. The letter expressed their desire to contribute to the welfare of the people by donating 31,680 square feet of land they own adjacent to the Quaid-e-Azam’s Residency at Ziarat.
Land Donated for Environmental Center
The Isa family specified that the land is intended for the establishment of an environmental center. They emphasized that the donation is for the benefit of the public and licensed it to the Government of Balochistan free of charge. This initiative aims to enhance environmental awareness and conservation efforts in the region.
“Pakistan is approaching 77 years of Independence and, if the government agrees, we would want this gift for the people to take effect on the auspicious day of 14 August 2024,” stated the letter. The donation is not only a tribute to the country’s independence but also a contribution to its sustainable future.
Official Communication to Government Leaders
The letter, dated August 2, 2024, was dispatched to key government figures, including the President, Prime Minister, Balochistan Governor, and Balochistan Chief Minister. The donation has been warmly received by the government, with officials praising the Isa family’s commitment to public service and national progress.
Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, expressed gratitude for the donation, stating that the land will be utilized effectively to benefit the local community and promote environmental initiatives.
Significance of the Quaid-e-Azam’s Residency
The donated land’s proximity to the Quaid-e-Azam’s Residency at Ziarat adds historical significance to this gesture. The residency is a revered symbol of Pakistan’s independence and the leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, making the donation particularly meaningful as the nation celebrates its 77th year of independence.
The donation by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and his family exemplifies a spirit of generosity and national pride. As Pakistan commemorates its independence, this gesture stands as a testament to the commitment of its citizens towards building a prosperous and sustainable future. The establishment of an environmental center on the donated land is expected to play a vital role in promoting ecological awareness and conservation in Balochistan.
This thoughtful gift reflects the enduring values of unity and progress that continue to define Pakistan’s journey as a nation.
