The cost of chicken meat has surged by Rs 90 per kg within a span of three days.

Ahead of Eid al-Adha, the price of chicken has escalated, witnessing a rapid increase of 90 rupees per kilogram in just three days.
Today in Lahore, the price of broiler chicken meat surged by an additional 32 rupees, reaching 516 rupees per kilogram. This increase follows a rise of 46 rupees yesterday and 12 rupees on June 9, resulting in a substantial total increase of 90 rupees within three days.
Moreover, the live broiler chicken rate has climbed to 343 rupees, while the wholesale rate has peaked at 356 rupees per kilogram. Additionally, farm eggs have also seen a price hike of 7 rupees, elevating the price per dozen eggs from 237 to 244 rupees.
