Pakistan’s first ‘E-Cattle Market’ App launched ahead of Eid-ul-Adha by Punjab government

The Punjab government has launched Pakistan’s inaugural ‘E-Cattle Market’ in celebration of Eid al-Adha, with the objective of streamlining livestock trade and enhancing convenience for the public.
According to the Punjab Information Technology Board, the newly introduced E-Cattle Market platform revolutionizes the livestock trade sector by allowing citizens to purchase sacrificial animals from the comfort of their homes.
The E-Cattle Market app boasts a user-friendly interface, providing buyers with access to a vast array of sacrificial animals. Users can navigate through the app to view detailed information, including images, videos, weights, and prices of each animal, facilitating informed decision-making.
Ebrahim Tariq Shafi, chairman of the Cattle Market and Management Company, underscored the app’s advantages, stating, “With this app, citizens can now order the animal of their choice without visiting crowded markets. This measure will not only reduce rush but also save time and petrol.”
