The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast indicating intense heat across most of the country’s plains, while various cities can expect rain accompanied by thunderstorms. Meanwhile, Karachi is currently in the grip of an extreme heatwave, projected to persist until June 1st.

According to the latest forecast from the Meteorological Department, several regions across Pakistan are set to experience varied weather conditions.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rainfall is anticipated, along with the possibility of thunderstorms. Similarly, eastern Punjab may witness scattered thunderstorms and rain in certain areas.

While Islamabad and its vicinity are expected to remain hot and dry, regions like Murree, Galliyat, and nearby areas might encounter thunderstorms and rainfall.
